This interactive, experiential workshop is designed for professionals who are working with children and families in a variety of clinical settings. Offering practical, creative solutions to the challenges faced by helpers, the workshop is geared to those who are interested in engaging, assessing, and healing families of all cultural backgrounds. Tapping into our own creativity as helpers helps to prevent burn-out, and can assist our clients (as well as ourselves) feel empowered and make necessary changes. A variety of creative techniques such as play therapy, art therapy, and journaling will be presented.
